We moved to a new house in colfax from a house in high point. When the address was changed it was the new address but still in high point. They new exactly where the house is when they came to turn off the water. I pay my bills when they come in the mail. Im disabled because of a part in my brain that holds short term memory. If they keep getting all the bills and warnings back because there is not an address can't they look at the address where the service is going? Or better than that the address that they gave the person to go to turn off the water? If they just looked at it everything is the same except where they screwed up and didn't change it to colfax! And now I even have to pay to have them turn it back on! I Definetly don't understand that after they realized that they screwed it up!
I was talking to a man that hung up on me. Then talked to a superviser who was arguing with me. This High Point City Utility need to fire and rehire kind customer service help. I will be contacting the Senate on them today 8-16-17.
Poor service at best!
The house we were interested in passed 3rd party inspection with absolute FLYING COLORS, but then when the city came out to inspect in the interest of the Incentive, they found so many essentially non-important things wrong, and the fact they only cut checks for the Incentive on Thursdays, it forced us to miss out on it. Ther's much much much more to this story. I tried to paraphrase it as best as I could. Bottom, line it is way too good to be true.
The $7500 Core City Homebuyer Incentive Program is a FARSE!! Do NOT fall for it! The city does not want to let go of this money and will go to great lengths to create enough red tape to make it difficult to properly qualify.
