The staff at the front desk are incredibly rude and don't care wether you hear them gossiping. If I could give this place no stars I would. You work with the public learn some manners.
Atleast they refund you.
I have always been treated with great respect at this facility both by staff and doctors.
My sister just visited due to some pain she's been dealing with for a few weeks. She was completely disrespected by the nurse. Made to feel stupid and prescribed a "pain relief" drug and sent on her way. They didn't tell her why they were prescribing this particular drug, what is and what it helps with. If you need to go to an urgent care facility I would recommend CVS Minute Clinic until you can get in with your regular doctor.
Once again I am hearing from medical professionals about the reputation of this company. If you are a doctor, do not join this group! If you're already a part of it, get out while you can! If you're a patient, don't support docs who are affiliated with this group! They need to be shut down permanently! They bully docs, don't allow them to practice in the manner the doc feels he/she should which in turn affect patient care and outcomes. Docs: They will take you to court if they think you've violated some unwritten rule of theirs and they will shut down your practice and run you out of town! It has happened to many very good docs in this area! Patients and docs, avoid this place at all costs! I just heard it again from another medical office in town. Please, people let's work to shut them down. Medicine is stressful enough without this type of interference and bullying tactics.

If you are really sick you might as well go to your primary doctor or just go the ER. The wait for Urgent Care here is worse thank High Point Regional.
I go to two doctor offices who are associated with Cornerstone Health Care. I love my two doctor's. However, when I cannot get an appointment with my general practitioner due to an untimely sickness I go to the After Hours Care (aka Urgent Care). My first few experiences 2 years ago were great. However, the two times I have been this year were HORRIBLE! The first visit I was just thrown some drugs and sent on my way. My second visit the PA I saw barely made eye contact. Getting her to speak to me was like pulling teeth out of a toddler. When I asked what might be the cause of my sickness I was given an incredibly vague response. When she told me she was going to prescribe me a cough syrup I had to ask what it was and what the side effects were and if I could take it during work. She said I would be fine taking it at work. However, the pharmacist said they WOULD NOT recommend me taking it at work especially if I had to drive. I had been sick for almost 10 days. I left urgent care that day feeling like I had wasted my money, time and I was treated like a number. Get them in and get them out so they can get their kick back from the insurance company. 3 days later and NO improvement I called my doctor and was able to get squeezed in that afternoon. I found out I had bronchitis and what the PA from Urgent Care prescribed wasn't going to help me.
I don't often write reviews and when I do I try to leave reviews for places who exceed my expectations. But this place has failed me more than once and I don't they should be able to get away with treating people with no respect and offering sub-par medical treatment.
