Got a ticket in Guilford county on kivett for not having my inspection done. The ticket said it could be paid at Guilford county courthouse. I had no idea there were two different court houses because I don't live in Guilford county and it was not specified on the ticket. I go to the one in Greensboro and it takes over an hour to find out I was in the wrong place. People at high point were rude and it took forever. Wasted an entire day to get rid of a ticket for a stupid inspection.
Waiting 4 hours at jury duty. Just sitting in a chair. Our wonderful justice system putting my tax dollars to work...
I got a $10 parking ticket for parking in a parking lot that the Guilford County Courthouse shared with a rehabilitation center. I had no idea at all that it was the wrong parking lot. I had parked at the same location since the first day I've had to go to the courthouse and no one ever told me I was not supposed to park there. I actually thought that it was the right parking lot, that's why I always parked there. I didn't know it was the wrong parking lot and had no warning ticket. The security guard watched me park there and walk to the courthouse. He just looked at me funny, didn't say anything to me just waited until I went in the courthouse and laid the ticket on my windshield. All he had to do was either give me a warning ticket or stop me and simply just tell me, "Sir you can't park here you need to park over there." I never had a parking ticket in my life. That was so unprofessional and low to just give me a ticket just to make himself look better. He was there when I showed up and not around when I came back to my car. He couldn't even face the person he gave the ticket to. Had the situation been reversed, I would had just given him a warning the first time or just politely told him to park in that other location. The $10 was given to me 2 days ago for my birthday and it was all the cash I had left in my wallet. Whenever I see people that are just plain cold-hearted for no reason at all, it makes me proud that I am the descent person I am. I'll never be like some of these mean people out here.
The Clerk should be happy with the assistants and deputy clerks that my wife and I met over the 2 day period we were there.
The ladies in the clerk's office were fantastic. Very kind and helpful and patient. They seemed to go out of their way to offer guidance with showing me how to work the search engine on the computers in looking up multiple areas of needed information.
